Aquila Law has been trading for a number of years and like a lot of businesses it has been making do with some home made desktop publishing for its logo and other printed material; and like a lot of businesses the logo was being changed on every bit of promotional material and so there was no continuity.
A poorly designed and applied logo does nothing for the image of your business and then having that branding changing from one piece of material to the next does not give an image of a good solid and stable company.
Initially Insignia Creative was commissioned to produce a new website for Aquila Law but after a meeting with the clients we realised that a new branding was also required prior to starting any other work.
With the word 'Aquila' being the latin for 'Eagle' the client was very keen that we should use an eagle image as this was already being used in their present literature. The brief also stated that they would like us to keep to a particular colour palette and also have the logo clean, crisp and modern.
The finished logo has hit the clients brief and immediately conveys a modern legal company who specialise in three areas; commercial, marine and motorsport law.
