design: Yurtcamp & Yurtco
Another long standing customer for Insignia Creative that we have been
working closely with for several years since the initial idea stage
of their company.
The Contemporary Yurt Company was set up by Zoe and David Ager to build
high quality Mongolian style yurts to sell. Insignia was approached
to create a brand style for the business.
As can be seen from the logo we created a modern, crisp and clean brand building a new typeface style for the main ‘yurt’ lettering. The lime green accent colour was then used throughout stationery and web design whilst heavily using the main ‘yurt’ wording with the new typeface style to always emphasize the yurt connection within the business.
Once we had set up the initial Contemporary Yurt Camp branding we were
then straight onto the second part of the business, Yurtcamp.
This part of the business was to set up a new ‘campsite’ located in the beautiful South Devon woodland utilising the yurts and creating a new ‘glamping’ style retreat with a back to nature feel.
The new branding that was created was again kept very clean and we purposely stayed away from anything that resembled the prior branding for the Contemporary Yurt Company.
The new branding that was designed uses a stylised yurt and has also been carefully produced so that it can be adapted for future use in other areas without having to look at either a redesign or looking uncomfortable when new text is added to it – future proofed.
Once again this branding is then taken through to stationery and web design utilising the colouring and styling.
