Blackpool Sands is one of the jewels of the South Devon Coast. A privately owned beach set between Dartmouth and Plymouth offering fantastic facilities and endless hours of sunbathing.
We have tried to reflect this all in the website designed and hosted by ourselves. We have utilised a strong use of imagery showcasing the beauty of Blackpool Sands and the surrounding area The header immediately shows the viewer the beauty of the beach with the wide angle shot of the whole beach and countryside.
The use of the sandy background further enhances the beach and holiday feel with the sand flowing over onto the main navigation and body copy areas.
The site allows the viewers to navigate through various pages of information including an events section and portfolio of images further enhancing the beauty of the beach.
A google map embedded into the site gives good instructions on how to get to the location as well as showing a beautiful aerial view of the beach and area.
The whole site is controlled by the client using Adobe Contrbute. This piece of software allows them to enter the site and change the body copy areas without having to come back to us for simple changes.
